***NEW STAGGERED DEPARTURE***
Ride for SickKids is committed to providing the safest environment for our participants, volunteers and committee. In keeping with the current protocols for large outdoor gatherings, we have implemented a new Staggered Departure system.
Upon online registration, participants will have the option to choose their preferred departure time. This is on a first-come-first-serve basis and is limited to a maximum of 100 bikes per time slot.
We recommend registering as soon as possible to secure your desired time.
Each time slot will be assigned a colour-coded wristband. This will be included in the registration package that will be mailed to your address.
Riders MUST have the wristband when arriving in the morning.
RFSK crew will use this as confirmation of registration upon arrival, this ensures minimal physical contact.
North Maple Regional Park
11085 Keele Street,
Maple, Ontario (between Teston & Kirby)
Time slots are as follows:
08:30 arrival 09:00 departure
09:30 arrival 10:00 departure
10:30 arrival 11:00 departure
11:30 arrival 12:00 departure
It is IMPERATIVE to arrive on time to ensure we stay on schedule and clear the parking lot for the next group.
Our most important feature remains the same: Riders will be treated to a beautiful, scenic, police-escorted ride.
Upon arrival at the end location, participants will be given an individually packaged lunch, courtesy of Shoeless Joe’s.
Note: Ride for SickKids team is sensitive to the current global situation. Our top priority is the health and safety of all parties involved. We are carefully monitoring the ever-changing guidelines and are committed to hosting this event in the safest possible way. We are working to implement our own safety and social distancing policies and will modify as we go along. Should it be unsafe to host an event as large as we are accustomed, we are prepared to make any necessary adjustments and will have a plan of action in place to ensure a safe environment for all.
